So for some reason i noticed that my right front wheel get warm. Should I be worried and if so what should i look for or do?
 
Well i always start with easiest stuff first.[DOUBLEPOST=1414979916][/DOUBLEPOST]Could have a bad rotor, cracked brake pad, worn out pad. Just get in there and do some investigating. That is always the first thing to do. Maybe just need some adjusting. When did this start happening and can you provide more info?

Probably a caliper sticking. Check the slide pins/bolts. Look up how to lube caliper slide pins.

It could also be a wheel bearing going bad creating heat.
 
Chances are the brake caliper is shot. The piston is rusty and sticking. Just buy a remanned caliper for 60$ from advance and replace it and call it a day. I had to do my front two a month ago. The sticking calipers got so hot my car almost went up in flames. It will get seriously dangerous.
 
You need to check the slide pins for the caliper and the condition of the boots around the pistons. You should likely plan to rebuild/replace the calipers. Mine began to do this after a track day. My piston boots were toast, thus requiring a rebuild. IF you are thinking to do a replacement, you may as well do both front. Rockauto has good pricing. When doing this, consider turning rotors and new pads. autoanything has good pricing for pads/rotors if your interested. A fluid flush will also be required for replacement.
 
If you still can spin the wheel by hands after you jacked it up, you might have a bad hub need to replace.
 
i would listen for a scraping or grinding if you don't feel like taking it apart. Most likely caliper or a whole hub assembly. Both are really easy jobs.[DOUBLEPOST=1415017952][/DOUBLEPOST]If it's your caliper make sure you check your rotor before putting it back together. Save yourself some time.
 
Yea hope its not the Hub and chances are a stuck caliper heating up rotor. Do you ge any break/burn smells as wheel bearing would create a rumble worse over time and heat up center and all around shaft. Remove caliper and check condition, and see that pads are locked in place w/ shims and no rubbing, rotor should turn freely with wheel off and a lil hard push it should turn some on its own not stop immeadiately.Also lube slide bolts and compress piston(s) back in some and reapply and even bleed the brakes if you have a 2nd person if you'd Like to after brake work, easy stufff. Do you have single or Dual piston calipers?
 
So i figured it out guys. It was my caliper locking up. and was really rusty, so i replaced it and it was good. no more heat. but i do have to replace my brake pads and rotor. but better now then later.
