it's acting like i am running it with the BOV not recirculating... i noticed the thing on the front of the throttlebody, i don't know if it's a TPS or the ISC... but it's kinda loose and i think that's causing a ticking noise... would that cause me to run rich... losing a little air outta there? when i go to stop the car wants to stall and i lose power cause the brake boosters go out without a decent RPM....

i don't really know how to make a boost leak tester... i am sure that it's somewhere on this forum. so no.. i have not done that yet... I got a BISS from a friend, but it didn't fix my problem (it never is easy eh?)

That sounds like the TPS and if it is out of adjustment that can happen...so tighten down and adjust that...then if your not recir. make sure your lower honeycomb is out (it generally helps with the rich condition between shifts

these ideas are great, im gonna head out and get the bolts for the TPS to tighten it down, i also had already ordered throttle body gaskets from mach V so when i replace those i will do the TPS thing too... might head to lowes and get the stuff for the pressure check too. thanks a ton, keep all your ideas comming...

these conditions wouldn't hurt the ECU would it??

pardon the noob questions, i know enough to be dangerous, not enough to be helpful :p
