when i crank my eclipse up it idles around 3500rpm i took the map sensor out and it idled fine for a few minutes and then started back.

Check to make sure your throttle is closing completely. Another guess would be to check your idle position sensor.

prob meant MAF sensor.. He's a 420A motor which is totally different along with electronics than us 4G63 motors.

I thought 420a's don't have a MAF sensor, but a MAP sensor in the intake manifold?

um my motor dont have a maf sensor and throttle is fine

Check to see if theres slack on the throttle cable.
