Revs bad

Hey i have a 95 eclipse GST automatic its reving bad when i turn it on it revs to like 1800RPMs then some time it revs up to 1800 and drops then jump up quickly thats when its on Park or N!also when i put it to D it idles to 1300 and when i press on the gas and let go the idle drops then jumps up again!!then out of no where it starts being normal(when i turn off the car and turn it on something tho) but when i accelerate fast it starts boing all that stuff all over again.i always had a check engine light on then like a day ago i turn on my car and its gone but now its not doing all those bad reving and idles im scared not to accelerate fast again then it will mess up again idk if u guys understand but if any 1 can help me please!!thanks!!

I took my 2g out 4 a ride and i accelerate fast and it started doing all thoe dumb things again!!also my check engine light came back on.i even took it 2 a damn mechanic he change out a sensor(dont know what) but it worked for aday when he changed the sensor. the check engine light came off but then this crap started coming up aday later and also the engine light came back on.IF ANY CAN PLEASE HELP ME OUT PLEASE!!

sounds like idle surge -
take the car to autozone and have the code read (its free)
then report the finding here.
