I know it might sound ghetto, but heck I'd even reuse a timing belt on a non-interference engine under the right circumstances.

The belt has about 30k or so on it and I plan on replacing my alternator.

Money is tight and I have learned that there is definitely a fine line between wasting money and having to hassle with things because you won't spend the money.

I figure that I am going to be going through alternator changes periodically anyways.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

If there's only 30k on it generally you should be fine, just make sure there aren't any huge cracks and nothing is missing/chunking off and you should be fine. :thumb:

Yes, I will check it out closely.

Thank you!
