Retarded boost

Seems like your gauge is toast man. Try using another gauge if you have one available and that will probably fix the problem.

Where do you have the line T'd? The most accurate spot that I've used has been the hose between my Intake Manifold and FPR.

I noticed it is still in vaccum at wide open. Id look at the gauge for sure.

Are you positive your are building boost?

Car smoke at all?

Check the turbo for shaft play and just make sure its not toast.

Lastly, a huge boost leak will cause you to build no boost. But then again, you say you "feel it" so its possible the gauge is junk or you make have a kink in the line.

It shouldn't be a boost leak or the turbo because if it was it should still be getting up to 0/0, like it was n/a, but it's only getting up to -10 which leads me to believe it's got to be the gauge.

Verify the boost gauge is working using an air compressor by doing a quick BLT.
  1. Remove your boost gauge from the A-pillar
  2. Pull the vacuum line off the wastegate and shove it into the back of your boost gauge.
  3. Do a BLT, pressurizing the system, seeing if the gauge will show a pressure reading other than vacuum.

If your Feeling it build boost then doing a BLT would be pointless.
Apparently you didn't read the step by step I wrote above... I didn't suggest doing a BLT to check for boost leaks, I suggested he pull the gauge out of the car and hook it directly to the IC pipe and pressurize the system.

Make sure there is no kinks in the Gauge line and that its T'd in an accurate position. If your Feeling it build boost then doing a BLT would be pointless.

You can build boost and still have a leak, it wouldnt be "pointless"

Gauge is at about 21~22 at idle. No leaks, gauge is new and has always worked until motor swap. I'm going to switch to vacuum line instead of that plastic crap soon. Thanks for the replies and I will try testing the gauge with my mighty-vac
