That is your coolant overflow reservor. There should be a "FULL" line on the side so you don't overfill it. Make sure you check all your hoses and radiator for leaks.

Fill it to the full line with green coolant.

Also there is straight coolant and mixed coolant. If you buy the straight coolant you have to mix it 50/50 with water. Or just save yourself some time and buy the coolant thats already mixed. Which is what I usally do.

Just buy the premix, it's best to not use tap water, so you'd have to get distilled and mix it yourself anyways.

You can always go to autozone and rent a coolant pressure tester. Then you will know for sure if you have leaks or not.
