[RESOLVED] Vapor recovery fluid trap/check valve

Don't plug it, that's a oneway valve to keep fuel from entering the the emissions system. If you plug it air cannot escape from the tank when you fill up.
 
Everything from the valve forward can be removed, but from the the valve to the tank needs to be in contact to prevent the tank from releasing anything other than gas vapors.
