The reason i ask this is beacuse i could go and make a twim scroll manifold but i dont like the idea of two wastegates and the extra exhaust tube id have to mend in some where. But i did have an idea of mounting to the stock manifold and sticking a waste gate in between which im sure would work as of fabrication, but how much spool time would i lose? Is it really worth all the time and money to use the twin scroll the turbo comes with to advantage? And i have searched but the threds went off my topic.

it is worth more to you to make it a twin scroll then you could even imagine. i would say you lose. AT LEAST 500rpms in spool if you don't go twin scroll. probably more like 1000RPMS... If you can make the manifold yourself...DO IT!!!

The stock manifold would never permit a twin-scroll Holset housing to be bolted to it and still clear the block.

This is what you'll run into:

That still doesn't explain how you're going to make a smooth transition for exhaust flow coming from: (O)
...and feeding into: (00).

Either fab your own twin-scroll manifold or buy a bolt-on BEP housing. Don't half-ass this job or you'll be mad at yourself.

You dont need "two" wastegates, just(like already stated) get a twin scroll manifold or a BEP housing.

For proper boost control on a true twin-scroll turbo, two wastegates are recommended as boost will need to be pulled from both runners. This opens a whole new door to wastegate calibration and such to be sure both gates are opening at the same time.

If you're building the manifold yourself you can plumb a single gate but split it into both runners.
