hey guys new to dsmtuners

just bought a used 90 talon tsi AWD last night...
moved the car out of my parking spot only to find 2-3 oil puddles pretty good sizes.
i looked under the car this morning to see where it was coming from to find that its coming near the Alternator...its only on the right side of the motor to be exact for all you.

anything there to be exact that i should check?? don't have time to drive it to my local auto shop yet.

thanks again

we cant see your engine through the internet so what you need to do is jack your car up and grab a flash light and look for oil leak. not rele that hard

i'll be checking it hopfully this friday. its hard to get around to taking a good look during the day because i work 2 jobs but im completly off friday and should be able to take it to my local auto shop.

sorry about not providing pics for you to help figure it out. i'll definitly need to jack the car in the air. :beatentodeath:

I vote for the Turbo return line, dipstick, or oil filter housing. I would say those are the most common I've seen on these cars.

I would start with the oil filter to oilfilter housing, then oil pressure sending unit.

and then end up with the oil cooler lines & fittings.

Valve cover gasket . Camshaft seals . Seal on dipstick .

Power steering pump, front main, oil pump housing, turbo drain, etc., etc.

I SAY Turbo Oil return Line FLANGE at the Oil Pan - BUT... if it makes you feel any better I can EQUIVOCALLY VOUCH that it;s NOT leaking THRU the molecules of the Cast Iron Block... & welcome to DSM you poor Oil leak chasing bastard.

And your call sign is a oxymoron, There is no such thing as running a TALON or any other DSM on a BUDGET. ROFLROFL
