oil leak. WHERE?

ok so i just put in the new slave cylinder drove the car pretty good i get home to just check things out and i had smoke white smoke coming from under the manifold on the left side of it. from my quick checking it doesnt appear oil is coming from the turbo but potentially from a line under it i also recently replace the oil feed line so i know its not that. just curious because this car has given me hell lately. im just out to see if anyones had this problem or know if its common ahh im just frustrated any help is nice.

Is it alot of white smoke or just a little bit for a short time?

umm a fair amount .noticable now it doesnt smell like oil though ive got a hunch i some how got brake fluid up there doing the slave cylinder bleeding etc

Check your hoses to see if theres any pin holes or there could be a small crack in one of your hoses. I had that problem a while back on my GSX and it was a cracked line. Couldn't see where it was comming from but i found it leaking and discovered the problem when i took off the hoses.

thats what im thinking too are there any other oil lines on the turbo other than the feed and return?

I recently had a oil leak in one of my steel braided oil cooler lines. Was very difficult to find because the leak was from the inside.

i got it front left corner of valve cover gasket tough to find but i was gunna order a new one tonight any good ones for about 40 bucks?

Felpro valve cover gasket set from Advance Auto runs around $30. They're all I've ever used and I've never had a problem with them.
