i have a 95 eclipse can anyone tell me what the tube is on the back of the intake manifold close to the throttle body? and where it connects.sorry i dont have a pick but i know it not one of the vacuum lines
 
It goes here. Make sure you have the proper hose there. There is a special check valve built into that hose that is critical to make sure your brakes work properly.

If that previous picture was of your engine, the hose that goes to the brake booster looks like the one I circled in red. See if that routes itself back to the booster.

Remember there is like a plug inside that hose close to the brake booster and has to GO BACK on your hose. I replaced mine(did not have to go to satan). I went to autozone and got I belive a 3/8 in. hose (2 feet long) lubed up the plug and placed it about 2 inches inside the hose (on the side closer to the booster). Good Luck

CHECK VALVE.
