Ok, I have a 92 TSi AWD 5-speed with an eprom ecu. Only mods I've got is:

Dejon Intake
MBC
No Emissions(vac lines deleted egr blocked off)
Bottom half of throttle body removed
Ported O2 Housing
2G 450cc Injectors(not really a mod)
A/C Removed completely

Now I have a problem with the exhaust manifold studs coming loose and 2 of them need to be tapped for a larger studs. Not to mention the lifter tick and the snow white exhaust valves. I got this head that I was going to sell but I'm planning on using it. Here the specs:

Grind Num.: 546/547
I have a thick aftermarket head gasket that cam with the head and some ARP head studs.

Can I use this head on my car? Or do I need to upgrade the fuel system and use a tuning device? I'm new to the turbo cars so any and all help would be appreciated, thanks.

Yes you can use this head. Now with the cams, os valves and some porting your going to flow some more air than a stock setup would. I would definitely have some way to tune the car to keep your afr's inline. You'll need a least a logger and a safc. Are you still on the t25? You probably will need more fuel but just keep the boost down for now and you should be alright. Also what kind of headgasket is it? If its a metal headgasket then it is preferable to have both surfaces; head and block, very smooth. Good that you have arps too.

I have a 14B turbo and I'm not sure what kind of head gasket it is. Its 3-layered with a thick steel center.

Buy an M8 x 1.25 heli-coil kit...use the recomended drill and the supplied tools to insert stainless steel threads in you head. IMHO, every head that's taekn off to be built should have as much of it's holes heli-coiled as possible... i do this with any of mine that aren't in damn perfect shape when i inspect the head

Thanks for that I couldn't figure out the size. The stock head will be rebuilt when I get this other head on.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I have a 3" GM MAF and a MAF-T on my other car which is immobile at the moment. You can see it to the left in my avatar.

Ok, I got some info and I can use the head but take out the cams and use a composite HG. but thanks for helping.
