i currently have a bonestock 96 gst. When i start the car everythings runs fine with good idle, but when the car warms up after a few minutes or a few minutes of driving the rpms drop down very low and the car stalls out. The things i checked for was a boost leak, sparkplugs, plugs and i tryed to adjust the BISS screw but nothing has helped. any ideas??????

im not venting and i replaced the plugs and sparkplugs. Would an O2 sensor really make it stall out?

Sounds like a similair problem my friends 97 GST had. I replaced everything and it ended up being a combination of a boost leak from the crappy stock BOV and the MAF going out.

Check your coolant temp sensor. It may be stuck on the reading when its cold so it runs fine cold but not warm.

you may want to check the EGR isn't stuck open it helps your engine warm up when cold and should close at highway speed. I had a s10 that did that and it took forever to figure it out.

does the idle surge at all or just when you idle it just bogs down and dies on you.

but i agree with gstjeff. it sounds like a boost leak somewhere.

well the problem was the sparkglugs, they were not gaped correctly. thanks for the help guys!
