[RESOLVED] engine bay pic, what is this?

the car is a 95 talon with a full 6 bolt swap.

what is this plug coming off of my throttle body?

Where does the wire for this go?

Can I run a wire from it straight to the ECU?

If you cant tell by the picture I have taken, say something and I will take one from a different angle.

That's the throttle stop switch or idle set screw, etc, etc. It tells your ECU when the throttle is completely shut and is absent on 2Gs so I'm not sure how you'd hook it up to your ECU.

since I am using a 1g throttle body do I have to hook it up? or can I just leave it as is?

It is the throttle body stop switch. It is used only on 1g's. You need to leave the part in there but nothing needs to attach to the metal tab that sticks out. I bent mine down, but you can just leave it alone and it'll be fine.

^^^ yep. It's not used on 2g's. Just leave it unconnected.

You can't take it off. My brother already tried and we had to get a new one. I bent it down because I didn't want to see it sticking up. Purely for cosmetic reasons.
