well i had my ecu sent to be reprogrammed. I was just wonderin if there was nething out there that i could maybe use

Negative...not anything that will help at least, probably do more damage than anything.

Where did you send your ECU to be reprogrammed, and what was wrong with it?

eBay has some really sweet chips. They add like 20-30 hp and they are like $10 bucks man!!!1!

I had it sent to jet to have it cleared and reprogrammed. there was nothing wrong with it i just wanted to maybe get a little bit extra outta it

I have heard of Jet doing "reprogramming" for our cars, but haven't seen any actual results. I'm mighty skeptical until I can see numbers proof.

I've seen Jet's work on a few 1G turbo ECUs. One was a Non-EPROM which makes it pretty hard from the start to change any of the key parameters and their was no sign of any changes, The second was an EPROM version and the chip was 100% stock when compared to the factory code. If they did anything them it would have to be a hardware change and that places them in the same market with the eBay "chip" guys who sell resistors to change your IAT or ECT readings.

What do you mean??? The ebay ad told me it would add all that power by throwing on the "chip".

The problem with all those eBay ads is that they underestimate the performance gains.
Loosing all that money makes the car lighter so it goes faster.
