[RESOLVED] Car has low power, studdering, hesiation...

Hey guys I rebuilt the motor in my wifes 91 tsi... its just a freshened up motor, didnt put rings or bearings in it. The motor has a couple of hundred miles on it right now , and a few weeks ago became very laggy, hesitant, and underpowered. Pulled the plugs and cyl 3 seemed like it wasnt firing nearly as much as the other 3. Car has no CEL, did a comp test before i retourqed the headbolts and came up at 140 across. After the motor first ran i had 155 across. Could this be from headbolts stretching? Also when you first start the car up after about 20seconds or so the temp goes straight up to a little past the middle mark and the longer you drive the car for the laggier and more hesitant it gets. Any help is greatly apprettiated on this one. Thanks.

I dont have a logger, and yes I reused the stock head bolts but they didnt look like they were stretched or distorted in any way.

Well i did a comp test....140 even across the head.... So im guessing the low compression might cause some of the problems. Im gonna try to hook it up to a logger to make sure the FPR and injectors are ok cause the car is going through gas like crazy, but not bellowing out black smoke. The plugs were covered in soot also. Also i checked the CAS wiring with an ohm meter....it read 4.13 and in the chiltons it says its supposed to be 4.8-5.2.....

Well I swapped out the CAS to one I had laying around, that seemed to solve the problem.
