I got a new valve cover cause my old one was cracked. The new one i got does not have the Breather/pressure release hose fitting can i take the fitting out of the old valve cover and if so how do i get it out and into the new valve cover? Thanks..:beatentodeath:

not the pc valve the hose that comes out the passenger side of the valve cover. The fitting the hose clamps to is not in the valve cover.

There should be 2 hose fittings on the valve cover. The one in the back is the PCV check valve and the one on the side goes to your intake. If your valve cover is missing the side one, I'd be worried that they screwed it up. It sounds like somebody cut the old one off and cold welded a plug to it. I wouldn't risk running a valve cover that somebody monkeyed with.

Anyways....

Had the same thing happen to me last year. Get some vice grips or pliers and pull on the nipple. It should slide out relatively easily. Put it in the new valve cover and voilà. Simple as that.

Thanks man it does just slide in and out. With a lil tug. and push.
