I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this. But i need to know the book time for taking out and putting a new distributor in. I don't want to get screwed by the mechanic!:ohdamn: I need to know right away if anyone knows please and thanks!

Save your self some money and do it your self. Its not that hard to do and certainly shouldnt take more than an hour.

i just searched here and dsmtalk for 1.8 related and i dont see nothing i would say go to the library and look through Chilton and so books, do it yourself thats how you learn and can use that to help others on this forum :thumb:

just make sure your at top dead center with the number one piston and then make sure the number one plug on the distributor is up. i do believe it is a 12mm wrench. get a chiltons for reference to do it. and its just the 1.8l the 2.0 n/t has a coil.
