Someone so much as steps with one toe into my home uninvited to take something that I earned with my blood, sweat and tears, you better believe me that they will not be leaving without a few metal slabs inside them somewhere. How do you know that this person is only coming in to take a TV? If I am awakened by someone in my home stealing and I come upon him and he is startled while having a gun in his hand, I am not going to take the chance of him getting me first.

outlawing the sale of guns is about the stupidest thing in the world. if you outlaw guns, then to have a gun, guess who you ####ing are? a ####ing outlaw!
they did it in a section of australia, and it ####ing proved without a doubt that its the stupidest idea ever, because crime skyrocketed. no law-abiding citizens had guns, so criminals just stole everything without worry of being shot.
even if we dont buy them, or shoot them, just the ability to be able to do so puts criminals in check.
