Replating stock gst/gsx wheels

Has anyone ever had their chrome gst wheels replated ? I really dont want to paint or powder coat mine but my chrome is pealing badly. Chrome ones around here that have no pealing are impossible to find thats why I want get my redone .

Well i don't have the GST chrome rims, but i have the stock GSX rims painted black, a good option for you if you want to keep chrome, would be to get it re-nickel plated/coated. Sounds like you want to keep chrome so ill save myself the typing for wheel prep. Find a chromer/nickel plater in your area shouldent be too expensive.

I dont think it will be too much, they are only 16" rims not a lot of plating surface

I talked to a rep from a wheel repair company here in houston a while back and he told me that it would be close to $300 a wheel to have mine replated.

Yeah replaying can be expensive. They do look good in a high gloss silver though. I think that would be the most cost effective option . Make sure you prep them well though.
