Replacing Fuel Pump?

so... now it seems that a supra pump will compete with other accessories (stereo mainly) for that huge amount of amperage, hmm.... would a larger alternator be a good idea at this point? my amplifiers suck close to 45amps at high volume points (big THUMPS), and the lights dim just a wee bit. i haven't gotten a capacitor yet, that's next for non-perfromance mods.
