Replacing AC Clutch and Bearing Possible?

My AC is completely fine(blows out icy air) but it squeals like no other. So, is it possible to replace the clutch and bearings on an AC compressor? Have any of you out there done it?

It can be done, but it takes some special tools and know how. You may be better off getting a reman compressor if you think that's why it squeals. If you don't want to spend that much, you could even get a used compressor.
