I have a 97 eclipse gst with a 6 bolt swap. My connector for the ECT sensor broke clean off the harness. First thing I want to rule out is there are no 2g turbo dsms in my area in junkyards and barely any local partouts, none of which will sacrifice a clipped plug on the harness. I have opted to repair mine. I have depinned it so I can work with each pin seperately. For those of you who have depinned before, you will know what I mean. The pins have a black insulator where the copper passes through it. The wires broke off right where they meet with the black insulators so there isn't much to work with. Is it possible to remove the insulator and reinsert wires on the pin to repair?

I don't know how to post pics on here so I don't have any. Hopefully someone knows what I mean. I can explain better when questions are asked
