2G Repair headliner

well the former owner of my car was a db and instead of fixing the headliner put a bunch of thumb tacts in it so im going to have to replace it any one have any good advice on how to do this or were to find a new one thanks

there fairly simple to replace. find a fabric store that carries headliner material (jo ann fabrics ) its about $15 a yard (u will probably want to get 2 0r 3 yards ) and get atleast 2 cans of high temp spray glue First get it out of the car without breaking the board. Then strip off all the old material. after the material is removed u have to get all the old foam off of the board (this is the fun part) u can use a wire wheel just be very careful, or a dust pan and brush. the cleaner u get it the better the final product will come out.. after it is all clean lay out ## material over the board leave some hang off the top , bottom and both sides , fold the top half down or vise versa which ever u like, spray the board and back side of the material with ## glue let sit a few minutes or until u can touch it and it dosent come off on ## finger , lay the material from the center to the top while holding the remaining material off the board (once its stuck its stuck ) just take ## time so u dont get wrinkles or creases,,,, repeat for the other side ,, after its all layed flip the whole board over and spray the edges with glue and ## material thats hanging over the edges and tack them down , and ## done just trim out ## visor holes , lights , clothes hooks. this is how i do them ive been doing them for a few years now ill post a pic of my custom 1 tomarrow good luck
