Mississauga,
There is a little yellow spacer thing holding the throttle cable onto the gas pedal. I tried poping that off but just ended up cutting my fingers up. Is there a way to get that off?
I unbolted the gas pedal from the firewall, hoping to be able to pull the whole assembly out, but I can only pull it out so far because of the cable... I don't want to end up cutting the throttle cable. Anyone have any suggestions?

i just did this a couple days ago so i know exactly what your sayings its a b*tch to get off, what i did was unbolt it from the firewall then rotated the yellow plastic circle around to get it all loose then left it in a position where i could get my fingers on the two little tabs on it then just squeezed them and out it went, after that you just lift the cable out through the notch. i had to do it at the junk and at home when i did the cruise control elimination mod but it took me 15 minutes first time and only like 5 second time, just gotta get down in there to get a good angle at it i was lying all the way on the floor , ridiculously uncomfortable :)
