Alright, so ive been researching this and im not sure if my problem is different, but im on vacation in Michigan right now and i need to fix this ASAP. Alright, Yesturday i was driving and i had a slight boost leak in my piping to the sidemount so i temp. fixed it ( just sying this ### im not sure if this has anything to do with my problem) But i was driving and hit full throttle and all of a sudden my stock boost gauge went down and my rpms just rocketed and wanted to just redline, so i shut the car off, and got out and checked it out. Well it seems that the cable TB spring thing wants to stay open, and the gas pedal is a little heavyier to push in and im wondering how i should approach this. Im thinking to take the elbow off and spray it down with cleaner but will this fix my problem?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. oh btw i drive a 98 gsx.:thumb:

Did you check the throttle cable at all? Longshot but I have seen the plastic from the tubing of the cable dry rot so to speak. It then slides down the cable and wedges itself between the cable and the lever causing an intermittent stuck throttle problem. Worth a look!
