Removing Stock Amp Wiring?

I already pulled the stock amp from under the passenger seat, and replaced it with a new one to power my rockford fosgate speakers, but i'm going for a clean install(no wires are currently visible from the amp installation) but now i'm left with the wiring harness that went to the amp, as well as the proprietary audio cable that runs to it....just curious if I can just pull both of these wires completely out, without damaging anything?

If those wires arent hooked up to anything, i dont see what that would hurt.

well the question is more like can I just hack off the plug on the amp end(so it's just wires) and basically yank the whole thing through the dash where the stereo goes, without damaging anything.

I'm running all the speaker wires off the wiring harness, btw. And installing some new tweeters once I get paid, so i've got the highs too.

There are some +12v wires in that amp harness so if you hack the end off you need to make sure nothing is touching.

ahh, i thought the amp harness just ran from the stock radio to the amp....you wouldn't happen to know the color of the wire(s) would you? so I can cover those up when I pull it out. i'm only hacking the end off so it doesn't catch on anything when I pull it through the dash.

I don't remember but I know I have tapped into some of them to power gauges.

Just make sure they are not hooked to power so you do not short anything out
