My megasquirt will be here any day now and I plan on using it for fuel and spark. Does this mean I can completely get rid of the old ecu by the fusebox under the hood? Also is there a bunch of wires that I can just get rid of? The PO didn't do a real clean job installing the motor, there r wires everywhere, some sensors aren't even hooked up, I would just like to clean it up as much as possible

nobody???? im gettin further along with this project and i need this info to keep goiing. Do i need the old ecu if using megasquirt for fuel/spark?

symtech labs finally replied and said i will NOT need to keep my old ecu in the car anymore. Now i would like to begin removing/cleaning up wires in the engine bay. What all can i cut out?
