ok im really not in a great mood right now, im ready to go to get this 50trim in and I can not for the life of my get this o2 housing off the old t25. Im guessing it probably would of been easier if it was still in the car to get some leverage, but im not about to reinstall the old turbo. There has to be some trick to get this off? I dont think it would be to much of a problem, but even with people holding the turbo down on the ground in place, it still moves and lifts off the ground when trying to get the bolts off. I also was going to try to seperate the 2 sides of the turbo, as those bolts I can turn fine, but you can not fully remove them because of the oil return line and other things blocking 2 of the bolts being removed freely. Im about to just buy a whole new o2 housing even though I really dont want to waste the money, but Im sick of working on it at this point.

I put P B Blaster on it, let it sit for 15 minutes, then I step on the turbo and brake the bolts with a regular wrench. If you're having that much trouble, double wrench it, or get a breaker bar. Might have to drop it in a vice. Penetrating fluids rock. Get some PBB.

Put on PB Blaster, still no go. Even trying this with 2 people, breaker bars, giriping the turbo with a vice, we just cant get these bolts off. The only 1 that I did get off was when the turbo was still in the car, but I was like blah this will be easier to get off out of the car... well apparently not. Looks like im just gunna have to eat it and buy a new housing.. good time to get one all ported out I guess.

It took me a long time to figure this out... many busted knuckles and bruised arms later i found out that heat and penetrating fluid are you best two friends. Use a blow torch to get it pretty damn hot then spray the PBB on there, do this 3 or 4 times and trust me it will come off.

ok well using what was mentioned above I manged to get off the nut and bolts except for 1 bolt. The head on this bolt is stripping and is now becoming rounded. Ive been trying some vise-grips but that does seem to be working either they keep wanting to slip off and strip as well. zzzzz

At this point it will probably be easier to pay a machine shop to remove it for you. I had them extract three completely snapped bolts from an exhaust manifold for $20. Well worth it. (They cursed though.)

Whenever you are removing really stuck bolts, make sure you use a 6 point socket. The cheapie 12 points do an excellent job of rounding the bolt heads off.
