I can figure it out but maybe I am missing something easy. How do you remove your 1ga fenders. I am looking to replace them with 1gb fenders but first i need to get the old ones off first.

Secondly how hard is it to mount the 1gb headlights on a 1ga body. I am looking to remove the flip ups and replace it. yes i am replacing the whole front end for this conversion I am just curious how much i am getting myself into.

If someone could help me out it would be much appreciated.

Jeff

Open the hood, there is a line of bolts along the top edge of the fenders.
Open the door, there is one or two, can't remember right now, inside the door jam
Under the car, where the bottom most edge of the fender is, there are 2 bolts
In the wheel well, there are bolts and some plastic screws
Where your front bumper and fender meet, there is 2 bolts holding the bumper to the fender.
Lastly there is a bolt or 2 hidden behind the side marker lights.

If the fenders were never removed before, after making sure ALL of the bolts are out, you may need to tug on them a little to get them off. There is some sealer stuff along the top edge that tends to hold them on pretty hard some times.

Theres a lot of threads about doing this conversion, if you havent already, you may want to check some of them out. At some point I posted the wiring changes that must be made.
