removing ecu?

hey im kinda new with dsm and i need to know were the ecu is located and what tools i need to take one out. Thanks alot o yeah its on a 2g eclipse also

HEY MAN, HOPE YOU DID A SEARCH BY NOW, OR LOOKED AT WWW.VFAQ.COM....BUT
YOUR ECU IS LOCATED UNDER THE DASH BEHIND THE RADIO/SHIFTER ASSEMBLY. YOU NEED A SCREWDRIVER AND I THINK 10 OR 12MM SOCKET. UNPLUG ALL THE WIRING HARNESSES AND UNBOLT THE 3 OR 4 BOLTS HOLDING IT IN PLACE.

Can u take the ECU without problems, like when u put it back in will u need to reset it or something like that.

it's quite easy to take out. I've pulled mine out quite a few times before with no problem and it started right up again. Good luck!!

Yeah, you can pop and swap the ecu in and out with no problems, just make sure to disconnect your battery before hand...............

hey guys ok i found out what tools i need and were they were its a 10mm get a small one if u can its easy now i have a 95 eprom ecu and a 92 ecu hmmm
