ive been guttin a 92 talon tsi awd for the past couple of days...after getting the interior out, i started removing the crap ton of wiring for aftermarket ricer lights, speaker wire, amp power wire and what not...well, while cutting and removing the wiring, i notice that the car had a VIPER car alarm module under the dash, not knowing that the car had an alarm...well, there where wires going everywhere...1 ignition wire was spliced for the alarm, but i did wire it back correctly...i started the car make sure everything was correct and the car idled like crap(ran perfectly before hand)...i would actually have to give it gas to keep the car running even then it was still running like crap...so i removed the complete dash tryin to locate any other wires that i may have cut that could have been important...here is a pic of the only other wires that i found that i cut...one wire is WHITE w/ BLUE stripe and the other is BLAKE w/ BLUE stripe...let me know if you guys know what these wires go to, or if it could be anything else that you've run into with an alarm removal...thanks

on the back of the plugs in the third pic, do you see the same colored wire back there? really, I could only assume that you just need to find the other half of those wires..

were you messing around in the engine compartment? maybe you accidentally knocked a vac line off.. its totally possible to do it, if you were messing around in there..

yeah.. for sure, check for vac leaks and loose wires in the engine bay.. that may very well be your problem.. you could do a boost leak test while your at it, as well.. then you can check the problem, and fix any existing boost leaks that are sure to give you problems in the future... I tore my dsm pretty much apart and put it back together, but I never saw anything where that plug is at that would cause something like this.. Im pretty sure its a mechanical issue.. are you getting any codes? if you are, then that will tell you what to look for.. of not, then its in the engine bay...
