Ok, I removed my PCV valve and routed both of my crankcase vents on the valve cover to a vented catchcan. I plugged the vacuum port on the intake manifold. My car idled good before but now it idles rough. Does anyone have any ideas why this would happen? Is this something the ECU will adjust to and remedy after a couple of days?

There are no restrictions in my lines to my catch can. I tested it before hooking up to the valve cover by blowing through the lines.

I did notice I have a huge exhaust leak between the o2 housing and the downpipe, I can see half of the gasket hanging out the side. I'm thinking that this could be the cause of my problem. After I find another gasket, and install it I will try it again and see what happens.

An exhaust leak there wouldn't affect your idle I don't think. It was something with the PCV that you did or didn't do. Make sure the intake manifold it capped tightly. I left off the brake booster line on the back of it once, and it would hardly stay running. If that doesn't work, put it back on to see if it still happens.

Do a quick boost leak test; as everyone else has said, you probably have a vacuum/boost leak somewhere, and the leak test is probably the fastest way to find it rather than "try this...no? okay, try this...no? okay..." ;)
