Remove Exhaust housing from 16g

I'm going to install an external WG setup off the o2 housing this weekend so I need to take the exhaust housing off for porting. Do i just remove the wastegate actuator and then the band-clamp in the middle?

Do I need to remove the turbo from the manifold?
Do I need to remove any oil/coolant lines?
Can i take the downpipe/o2 housing/ exhaust housing all of together?

Just:

-drop downpipe
-unbolt clamp in the middle, remove turbo bolts and remove the turbine housing and 02 housing all in one piece. Do what you gotta do and rebolt it back up and put the downpipe back on last.

you can do it just like that, although porting them while attached together might prove to be difficult.

Hey I have a spare turbo and after taking the band clamp off of it... I swear the two halfs are freakin gorilla glued together. Is there any kind of great way to get them apart? I've already hosed it down with pb blaster real good, but I swear that thing is stuck tight. If there's some kind of secret here, please let me know.

Flat head screwdriver is your friend.

Cool, I was just worried that if I do something too crazy I might damage fins if the exh housing just falls off or something... but I s'pose I won't worry about it. Thanks!

I used a flat screwdriver to pry it off too. Pry it off evenly, it'll come easier and have less chance of damaging anything.
