I picked up the GM MAF and translator, and I'm not quite sure how I can relocate the MAF so I can vent to the atmosphere. I ran a few searches but couldn't find anything helpful?

www.dejontool.com makes special upper intercooler piping to mount the gm maf after the bov and before the throttlebody. Or you can custom make your own piping to do the same thing.

Yes if you cut your pipe you can insert the MAF in there.
