OK. I want the battery in the trunk. I made the batt-box, brackets for the hold-down and stuff and I have all the wire I'll need. I looked at Taboo's article on this but I dont want to do a full race setup. I want to keep all the factory functionality and simply make the room in the engine bay. Has anyone done a really clean install like this without hacking up the whole wiring harness?

Would it be best just to make brackets for a sort of "positive lead pickup" on the firewall for the wiring that already exists, ground the grounds to the chassis and run a Cable from the batt to the "pickup?" (This is my plan so far) Hmmm. This sounds do-able....

Would 4g High current work or should I use 2xAwg or something?

Has anyone heard of side effects of doing this mod?

Thanks for the input!
