I dont have a step by step but would like to ask why. I see you have a n/t 2g which is obviously FWD. I would think you would want to keep the weight up front just for that little bit of traction help. Unless you are a stereo guy??

Yeah, generally FWDs keep the battery up front for better traction. Moving it to the rear is more helpful for those of us with AWD. In any case, there's a step by step article on how to do it up on VFAQ. I didn't go the in-car route (though I tried) as I didn't have the firewall hole as shown in the guide. Just ran it out of one of the trunk drain plugs (carefully trimmed and snugged around the wire after the job was done) and screwed rubberized stays along the body rail. I'm planning to remove the stock connectors entirely and rewire the harness to a proper power distribution box... should look much cleaner when it's done, rather than kinda ghetto-rigged like the bolt-through-the-connector trick shown in the VFAQ-linked guide.

thanks guys, yeah i guess i'll keep it in front i wasnt thinking about traction, never really thought it would make such a difference. Thanks for the input. :thumb:
