Yep, thats what I got. The 4 coilovers, 2 spanner wrenches, and the hex screw adjuster.

Alright I did some web searching today and went on the Group Buy Center and found a place with a groupbuy on Tein suspension, they didn't list the Flex coilovers but I emailed them and got a price of $1245 shipped to my location for the Tein Flex coilovers, and that's for my 97 GSX. The place is called Turbo Evolution. I've never dealt w/ them but just might have to unless I find a better price somewhere.

Sounds cool treimche. If it cost that much. I might go with the Tein Type Flex too. Forking out just a bit more as supposed to B+G. Let us know if u can find a better deal. I'll try to look around as well.

Has anyone else found a better price on the Tein flex coilovers? Or what is the equivalent model of the JIC's? And how much do they cost?

Nah... not yet. The shop I know in San Jose quoted they can give 10% discount off the Tein retain price. Don't know if $1430 for type flex is retail or already reduced price on http://www.tein.com/flexdamp.html.

That's all I know for now. Anyone else?

I'm leaning more towards the JIC coilovers now, because everyone I talk to has nothing but good to say about them. The way they ride, the quality, everything is just awesome they all say. So far I've gotten quoted a price of $1450+shipping for the FLT A2 for 2G AWD. Anyone beat this price?

Where did you find them for that price?

If you can get them for that price you should put your order in now. Thats a good price. I doubt you will find anyone to match it let alone beat it. Just making sure............. That price is definately for the FLT-A2's right? I say get them. Who quoted you that price........... I'm just being nosey thats all. ;)

Wow, that's a great price. Same one for the Tein Flex. Grab them asap! As for me, I decided to go with TEIN SS but add extra pillowball uppermount kit to that SS setup. It's a bit cheaper than Flex altogether. The main reason is SS is immediately available while Type flex I have to wait for about a month or so. Total comes around $1200 or so installed. Good luck with you guys's coil over!

Someone send me the link to that place that's selling JIC's for ~1400 bucks. I would kill for them at that price.

I too am wondering now if that actually is the price for the FLT-A2, I'm kinda thinking that my buddy messed up and got me a price on the FLT2 instead, which is not what I want. I'll be sure to let everyone know as soon as I find out the real deal here. I'm thinking that $1650 is more realistic for a price on the FLT-A2.

I'll be finding out Thursday afternoon the REAL price on the FLT-A2. Then I'll for sure post up the price I get!

Well a local shop here just set up with another place to be a JIC dealer, so they'll probably get it at wholesale or whatever. I'm gonna get a set of the FLT-A2 coilovers for $1450, but I don't think I'll be able to get any more at that price, since it's my buddy that runs the shop.

Tein Type Flex is available for 2G already ($1430). It's pretty new, just release about 1-2 months ago. I got the SS set up...real pleased with it. The pillowball upper mount is available for SS also (for $300 extra - $150 for front and same for rear). The one that's not available is the camber adjustment for SS.

But, if you have the money, go to JIC FLT-A2. All the shops I know said they are the best for 2G.

Sorry that post by TonyTSI was actually me, not him. I didn't pay attention to who was logged in on here. I'll find out if I could possibly get more than just one set of the FLT A2s for the $1450 from them or not.

Troy,

There was a member on asog.net getting together a group buy for the Tein coilover/struts or whatever these are. I dotn knwo much about them. But I think it was somewhere around $1k. I am going to PM him to see what the deal is he can get. I'll post up here when I find out.

ok, are Tein Flex and Tein Super street 2 different things? The group buy he was doing was for tein super street. It was with this website: http://www.modacar.com/products/Mitsubishi/Eclipse/MODACOI/

I'd say give modacar a call and see if they would do a group buy of maybe 5..you should be able to get that many since it seems there is 3 of you looking in this thread. Hope that helps:confused:

You can get the JICs FLT-A2 for $1550 through horsepowerfreaks.com they have a special right now call them ! I just ordered a set for my car
