apexi coil overs

those are some nice ones only things is that coil overs are ment for the track. this way you can change the balance of the car using 4 scales under each tire to better your run on a track. coil overs on a street are over kill and a waste. adjustable struts with good springs are much better for street driving.

Agreed, a progressive spring rate would be more comfy on the street, but it does say this kit was intended for street use. Either way for a guy like me who is looking at a GC coil over/koni (800.00), this is a hell of a package for only 650.00.

Times have changed. There was a time when coilovers can only be bought by a racing team with a spending budget or someone with lots of money.

Coilovers are not strictly for the track. It allows the owner the flexibility of lowering their car to whatever amount they desire (with in a possible range, of course). So instead of being stuck at the given height of brand X model X springs, you can lower your car to whatever hight you desire... either slightly to retain most travel and avoid rubbing on aggressive tire combos, or slam it to the ground (I wouldn't... but someone else might).

Based on what I have read on the WS dampers mentioned, they are slightly stiffer than stock and are meant pretty much onlyl for street. So, not rated high enough for all out track use, but slightly stiffer than stock to give improved handling... less body roll.

Im the one selling those coil overs they are very nice for a street car also pick up is only 599 cash price..but other they that they are a nice coil over the reason the price is so cheap is because they are over stock right now...peace

Apexi would be the best parts company ever if they released their N1 Pro dampers for DSM's. Unfortunately, this is all we get.

C'mon Apexi, do it for little Timmy trapped down in the well!
