I have been seriously considering the FP Green for my car for a while now, but I am not sure that I want to spend $1300 on the thing. Is there a comperable turbo out that I can look at? I have a few months of saving a shopping to do, so if you guys could put some ideas in my head that would be great. Ideally I'd like to just bolt the thing up in the factory location to my downpipe and everything... internally gated is also preferable.

I've heard about Bullseye turbos but I can't find their website to really look into stuff. Also, what about AGP turbos and PTE turbos? Thanks.

www.bullseye-power.com

I just sold my 100 mile old t04b v-trim and now have a brand new in the box t04e that I am selling for best offer, basically half the cost it is worth. I posted an ad in the classifieds last nite.

how well would these bolt up to a 2g turbo dsm? im not too framiliar with the t04b / t04e turbos. im not looking to do a whole lot of custom work.

edit...
just did a little research, but not much... would the t04e be a ball bearing turbo? it is a full garret that bolts up supposedly, so i was wondering if it was ball bearing. also what rpm do they usually spool at? this is going to be a street turbo.

pte 50 trim /76 with internal gate, but will boost creep so i bolted on a new bullseye performance housing and spools fast, hits and holds boost perfectly. but that cost little extra money to run that setup, i recomend bullseye vtrim turbo, pulls very hard and very cheap turbo, spools little slower but alot better then dealing with ptes stock 50 trim and getting 3 lbs of boost creep. i ran all 3 combos in last couple months

I would look into agp's turbos. If you look at the bullseye turbos you will notice no REAL power being made, and as 1993eclipsegs is selling both his turbos in a span of how many months ROFL

no ne has really seriously tryed or knew what they were doing with the vtrim yet anyway, they also just came out. i had the vtrim on my car and it performed the exact same as did the pte 50 trim, it be hard to say which one was better, both on my set up at 21 lbs pulled very hard and similar. they have ruffly the same lb/min wheels.

I sold the v-trim because my car is almost stock again , I'm buying a 2g :shhh: The t04e has never been touched. It is brand new and I got it for next to nothing, Which is why I don't care care if I sold it for $400.00 shipped :tease:

i recently purchased a PTE GT32e and its an awsome turbo.. much nicer then the 50 trim i think.. it spools quicker and higher hp capabilities.

Well you can get the PTEs with the milled exhaust housing to help eliminate boost creep.

I thought the AGPs used a Bullseye housing? Am I mistaken?

It looks like the PTE GT32E is a bit larger turbo than their comparable SCM-5031E 50 trim. What makes you think it will spool quicker than the 50 trims out there? Is the GT32E a direct DSM bolt-on? What is the cost?

Thanks

I run the PTE GT3255 and think it's awesome. Great boost response with high boost/flow capability. I run mine @ 22 psi on pump gas. If you are interested, I might sell part of my setup, like the manifold and turbo, I was also thinking about upgrading my injectors too. I have the supporting mods for a bigger turbo, and was thinking about going with a GT35r possibly....

I got the full 50 trim from AGP. Couldnt be any happier :thumb: It's perfect for a pump gas street/track combo.

Does anyone know what A/R the RS49 from AGP has?

Glad you are happy with your AGP purchase. Did you get the water cooled version?

I am taking about the To4b, To4e turbo. Not the housing.

Also the agp Rs49 is a "dry" turbo, and they offer .63 ar, .82. and 1.02 i believe is the last one.

AGP uses the VERY NICE bullseye turbine housing. Rightnow they have the RS49T and RS60T for $699. $100. forNICE oil lines that would be requred for the 1 year warranty and $100. for the internal gate. These have turbonetics TO4E comp housings and center sections. Mark

how are PTE and AGP in terms of customer service? i have heard fabulous things about FP which is why I wanted the green originally, but the cost of the thing kills me. Keep posting ideas for me to look at. I REALLY appriciate it.

edit...
now i am considering this guy...

would this bolt up to the stock DSM exhaust mani? I am assuming yes, but I wanna make sure.

Yes it bolts on. I have it's big brother on mine, the RS60T. email [email protected] for answers and check the service. Mark

now they say it needs an oil feed line from the oil filter housing... how exactly would i go about plumbing a line off the housing? is there a kit for this?

AGP sells an excellent oil feed and return lines for $100. very nice. RRE has insturctions/tips for removing the oil filter housing plug. Mark
Your town does not sound familiar, not near Syracuse, huh?
