50 trim

Trims are relative to the wheel, not the turbo.

I made 409whp on a stock SR20DE (Non turbo) with 9.5:1 and 22psi of boost with a T3 Stage III 76 trim turbine in a .82 A/R housing, and a To4E 50 trim compressor wheel in a (Damn, can't remember the A/R of the compressor housing right now but I want to say .50) with a 3" inlet.

The car (SE-R) went 11.5@125mph doing a 1000' burnout.

And I agree that those who have never been in a 10 second car don't have a clue.

Anything that traps over 120mph gets rediculous on the street. My SE-R would blow the street tires off well into 4th gear pulling like a freight train.

The car is question is a '70 Comet with a 351W. On an engine dyno the motor made 596hp/512lb-ft. At the track it runs 10.50's in the mid 120's on ET streets(stock suspension). Fun fun fun, no not for a daily driver, but for a cruiser/racer, hell yeah it is. Smoke the tires on demand. It's got plates, and is driven on the street weekly, but due to the 16:1 compression, race gas is a must. This is the same friend who occasionally drives his 632ci 6/7 second top sportsman car to the local car show on sundays. If y'all don't think stuff like that is fun, then you're nuts.

RDRKT, since when do talons stop or turn all that well anyways???

I know 10's are possible with this turbo (especially with nitrous). But I'm planning on creeping off the line and doin some serious granny shifting just to keep the drivetrain intact in this car. It's my daily driver, it'll be fast, but I'm not going to kill it just for the sake of saying I own a 10sec car. I have better things to do with my money and time.

Understandable, personally I know the way I am and everytime I hit a new goal I want more. I want 11.999 now, Im sure once I do that Im going to want more..

That is my goal too--just into the 11's. Should make a nasty street car. Then, I'll probably quit drag racing. Even if I turn an 11.99, I know I'm faster than a Porsche, a Viper or a Vette. "Yeah, its an 11-second car". :)
