I have a question for all you guys runnin 50 trims w/ no water lines. Does your wxhaust manifold and turbine housing glow orange after a night of runnin or after driven for a bit? I ask this question because mine does. Only after runnin hard for a little bit or a night of runnin aginst other people. I have a few pics that can post if anyone is interested.

This usually happens while boosting for a lengthy period of time.

Mine glows pretty bright after a full 4th gear pull, and it also get a dark red you can see at night just from cruising around.

Doesnt seem to get any brighter then my 14b did.

When I got all my boost leak fixed, the turbo glowing got alot less. I had my 50 trim glowing all the was down to the DP. :D

mine gets orange after some hard pulls, but so did my 20g and 14b..

i never seen mine or anyones really glow red or orange, my buddy claims his is always red too, but thats just me, id be interested in seeing those pics ????

Omg That Means Your Turbo Is Going To Blow It Seals! Stop Driving Immediatly And Install An Intercooler Sprayer Directly On Top Of Your Turbo!!!

Do a search on glowing orange turbines and there are some wild pics posted. Mine does the same. just drive a few minutes regularly to cool the turbine. The glow is normal. Mark

well here are 2 pics, this was just after a drive home from work and no hard driven. about a 20 mile drive.

thats pretty.I wouldnt worry about it.Its normal for it to glow.I mean its not 200 degrees in there or nothing LOL.I light glow is nothing, when you on it hard things tend to like to glow rear deep read, especially on turbo cars.I got pics that would make most people think there cars are gonna melt

I know, that was the only time I had my cam on me and I took the pic. I have seen it alot brighter. And yeah, it does make other people think that your stuff is going to melt, LOL. :thumb:

i dont know ive popped my hood many times after hard pulls to adjust boost pressure and what not and never seen anything glowing, u sure u guys arent running a little lean and got really high egt temps making it hot and glow. now im on a mission to do pulls and see if mine glows.
