Quick question,
When bring in my car for the saftey recalls, do i need to put back the stock stuff, in the engine? does that like void the recall? and, the transfercase leak, it says its for automatics only? and it leaks on mine, can i still get that fixed if i tell them. will it still be free?

The xfer case leak is for all AWD DSMs.

About putting stuff, unless the aftermarket stuff specifically affects the area of recall then no.

For example, if you have the Ball Joint Recall done and you have a aftermarket exhaust it won't matter because it doesn't affect the ball joint at all. Now if you had suspension modifications done to the vehicle that puts more pressure than stock..then yes you probably should..although I do believe it does NOT void safety recalls.
