Ok guys, I'm rebuilding a 90 ESI 2.0 5spd and I wanna know the best "bang for the buck" way to go about getting the parts... I have a very good knowledge on rebuilding an engine, all of the tools, a lift, and all that good stuff but all i wanna know is what to use for internals.. I'm going to do new pistons/rings (stock bore maybe a little more compression) rebuild the head with some mild cam. and gaskets of course... ARP head bolts just for the stretch issue even though I don't plan on making a turbo motor or anything I just need a reliable daily driver that is powerfull but streetable and good on gas mileage.

(also what about a header?)

thanks,
Brett :talon:

personally with your nt, I would spend money on a cam. Just rebuild the thing back with stock components. new rings and bearings, get the crank checked for wear. Nothing over the top if you want it to stay reliable
