I know this is going to get alot of opinions.

I am rebuilding my 1G 4G63T Engine and I have chosen to drop in Wiseco Pistons with Eagle rods. I got ARP Main studs and head studs for the setup and the block is away at the machine shope getting bored out. My quesion is....the stock compression on a 1G turbo 4G63 is 7.8:1 right? I want to go higher but I don't want to sacrifice reliability on the motor. What is a good compression to get some extra HP out of my setup? :thumb:

See my list of mods so far and let me know what you all think.

Standard WISECO's come in 8.3:1 and 9:1. Buschur Racing uses the 9:1 slugs. If buschur uses them that's good enough for me and i wil be going with the same set up a you with 9:1 WISECO's. Mark
