The second half of 92-94 have a different 3-4 shift fork, and hub/slider. Im pretty sure they are definatly interchangable. But as in being a stronger gear set, i dont think they are any stronger/better then the 91-first half of 92 which are supositly the best gear set to have.

You can use the parts, but I'm not sure it would be stronger. The evo3 gearset is the strong one. I actually have 90 internals in my 2g tranny since it's all I had to get mine back on the road.

You are best off with Late 1991 - Early 1992 parts. They are the best OEM parts to use for the 3rd and 4th gear assembly.
