Can you guys guess who has 113psi of compression (at best), two thumbs, and just filed his taxes? :aha:
Anyways I would like recommendations as to any complete rebuild kits to get and any reviews if possible. I wanna get about 600whp and would like to keep the internals as stock as possible (maybe change the pistons depending on condition). I will probably re-do the head too since I know #3 rear valve stem seal is leaking so any recs and review would be welcomed there as well.

600 hp and stock internals... are you going for a stock block record?

Now if you want to keep the stock rod you need to adjust your goals accordingly.

If you want 600hp you will have to adjust your budget and parts list to get there.

Exactly, yes the 6 bolt can make good power in stock form, but if your rebuilding it you should upgrade. 600 whp is no joke and IF your learning to tune yourself, having stronger internals will help if you knock. Plus it should last longer at those power levels, how much research have you done? Do you have an idea what turbo, fuel, and what your gonna tune with?
