It has taken quite a while to get this far but most of it was waiting on parts, the machine shop, and having to clean everything. Just thought I would share and see what everyone thinks so far of my first rebuild :thumb:

Looks good.

Did you replace your tensioner while you got her apart? I see your idler bearings are new.
But timing looks dead on, good job. It takes a few tries to get it just prefect.

Thanks everyone. I still have some cleaning to do and some more painting but hopefully this weekend will be the time to put it in.

No I didnt replace the tensioner. I didnt think I would actually need a new one and hopefully still wont. It still seemed good and strong when I had to compress it but I have never done anything with one before so I cant say if its good or not. I saw the mechanical one when I got my timing belt kit and thought it looked interesting but this actually makes my first timing job too so I wasnt exactly sure how that all went together and worked together so I just stayed with what I knew would work.

Finally done and running although a few things need to be worked out and tightened before I actually go to far. Im happy with it though, for now.
