Rear Speed Sensor Removal

Hey everyone, I'm currently dropping the passenger side rear suspension on my TSi AWD, and since it came with ABS, there's a Rear Speed Sensor bolted onto the rear trailing arm. There's only one bolt that should hold it in (checked my service manual). I undid this bolt, but the speed sensor still won't come out. Just wondering if there is anything I was missing or if I might just have to pry at it for a while. Thanks in advance.

i have a 2G, but mine is also like glued in place

i went to take that one bolt out when replacing a rear wheel bearing and snapped the head of that bolt clean off (DAMN)

the sensor is still there nice and solid though,

so i havn't taken mine off, but i can tell you that i CAN see glue type shit under/around it... i'd say start pryin.

Well, about 10 minutes after writing that post yesterday, I decided to give it a good heave with the pry-bar to see if it would come. Well, it did. Sort of. The actual plastic piece of the sensor broke completely off, pulling with it two little wires. The rest of the sensor is still inside. This doesn't concern me too much, since I will be removing the ABS anyways, but if anyone knows a way to get the one on the other side of the car off easier without me breaking it, it would be appreciated!
